Angles

Selecting the correct angles for a photograph is a key element to constructing a successful image, choosing the correct angles can make or break the image, considering were the light source is coming from and the positioning of the subject, I have taken a selection of photographs to show the differences.

Lighting/ISO

Anchor Kotwica

Lighting in photography can dramatically change the image completely, from the appearance, to what the image tells you. For instance Anchor Kotwica uses the lighting to create quite an eerie and painful image by using a high ISO.

as I am focusing on the emotions, I thought by changing the lighting of the image to could change the mood. by increasing and decreasing the ISO it allowed me to let more light in and brighten or darken the image.

macro

Hamed Al Mehairi

The photographer has a way of capturing a great image within his photographs. The use of light and composition go together to form the surreal images, although I the images may be edited I believe without it they would still be very successful photographs.

As I am focusing on the figure I focused on the eye to create a similar look using a macro lense

I used a separate lens before taking the photograph with a macro lens, although the lighting of the images I have taken is slightly high, the focus of the image is okay. I focused the eye ask believe the eye has more interest then met other parts of the face and holds more detail.
